2000 - November 2000) Consultant - Sr. Software Engineer / SQA Developed framework and tests for Java API test
effort. Created base classes for the QA automation team to provide core
functions for test development. Classes included an abstract QABase class to
provide the framework for all API tests to be developed from and a QADb class
which provided an interface to the Oracle database that the product was
connecting to. The latter of the two allowing the verification of database
modifications via the Kana product. Conducted White-Box testing. Sun Microsystems, Burlington, Massachusetts
(June 1999 - August 2000) Consultant - Sr. Software Engineer / SQA Responsible for design and development of
automation and test coverage for four component areas of an eight-way
workgroup server prototype. Wrote test plans, specs, and checklists for CPU /
Memory, Multi-Processor / Multi-Threads, Hotplug, and Core Kernel test areas.
Assembled all test suites and resources needed to provide coverage for areas
of responsibility. Created DIMM matrix consisting of over five thousand
memory combinations for CPU / Memory testing. Developed source control and
migration tool for the group's test documentation using Perl. Developed test
automation in Java to exercise the Multi-Processor / Multi-Threaded
capabilities of the prototype server. Moved to the PC Netlink group in a
tools and test development role to orchestrate the establishment of an
automated test infrastructure. Defined test cycle model to implement for the
life of the product. Created source tree for SQA test automation under
Teamware / SCCS source control. Migrated legacy code to source control
environment and created make files as needed. Repaired legacy tests written

target product was a plug-in to an Outlook 98 client on an Exchange 5.5

target product to create stress test automation in a Client-Server
